Part of Europe's largest multi-disciplinary consulting firm, we are a leading provider of business, technology and project/programme consultancy to clients in the public and private sectors. We have a mature Heavy Industries practice in our business that is one of the leading International consultancy firms serving the iron, steel and cement industries.

The Heavy Industries Account Director will be responsible for leading the management of the Heavy Industries Team and the post will encompass full responsibility for the revenue generation and profit delivery within the team. Further responsibilities will include Initiating and participating in resource recruitment related to the Team; and to act in the role of Project Director or Project Manager on assignments

Suitable candidates will possess a good first degree (2:1 or higher# and relevant professional qualifications #such as Chartered Engineer or Accountant# and/or a second degree #for example PhD, MSc or MBA.# Crucially you should be able to demonstrate significant experience of consulting in the Heavy Industries sector #particularly in iron and steel). Direct experience in mining and/or metallurgical industries is preferable as is experience in the planning of major capital expenditure programmes

Naturally you will possess an in-depth knowledge of the steel sector and be available to travel globally to deliver consulting assignments and business development activities. Past experience in leading teams, and well-developed consulting skills, with a track record of commanding high daily fee rates from clients needing assistance in capital projects will be expected.
