My client is a leading manufacturing company who is currently on the lookout for an electrical maintenance engineer.
The candidate will be responsible to support both the manufacturing side of the business and the general buildings through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems. The candidate will be working on a variety of automated equipment including conveyors, packaging machines, presses, with various faults including working on 1st and 3 phase electrics, testing panels and replacing sensors, PLC fault finding on Siemens. The role will also involve electrical projects from new machinery installs to power and lighting refurbishments.
The candidates must be electrically qualified and have carried out an electrical apprenticeship before completing 16th and/or 17th edition. It is essential that candidates applying have carried out diagnostic and fault finding on PLCs in a previous role. All automated backgrounds will be considered including packaging, food and drink, print, pharmaceutical, distribution centres etc
