Production Supervisor
Based in Fleet Hampshire
Salary £25-£28kpa + Good Benefits and Bonus.


We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to fully support the Production Manager to ensure day to day running of production is kept as smooth as possible. Supports resourcing and hiring of personnel, plans and assists their professional development. Assists in aspects of deciding shift patterns and salaries etc...

We are looking for someone to participate as an active contributor, someone who makes decisions affecting own work and the work of subordinates.
The right person will Analyse and identify problems, determine route cause using 6-sigma techniques, implement improvement plans and constantly measure. Make timely decisions whilst assessing situations keeping the customer in mind at all times.:
Actively take part in improvement groups, support project teams and all new product development, including new material LV's and ramp up's.
Concise and considerate decision maker, good moral builder who promotes firm discipline and a team working environment.
Hold regular team briefs and meetings, promote continuous improvement, use tact and diplomacy at all times. Be accountable for all actions, make firm decisions without emotion and above all, be fair but firm at all times. Be totally flexible with hours to suit changing business needs.

Qualifications
Experience:
A recognised certificate or qualification in a managerial discipline.
At least 5 to 7 years supervisory experience within a production environment, excellent communication skills at all levels. Ideally from an assembly background that included electronic components. An understanding of Lean manufacturing with the ability to use basic 6 Sigma problem solving techniques. An good understanding of clean room facilities and processes within, an understanding of keymat bonding or liquid display units would be very advantageous. Totally computer literate with microsoft office with a basic understanding of stock control systems. The ideal candidate would have auditing and cycle counting experience, be totally self motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team.
