Role: Quality Engineer – Product Assurance Engineer
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Location: Essex

Our client a leading Defence organisation is now looking for a Quality Engineer to deploy best practice Product Assurance principles within the business, to ensure all customer requirements are satisfied within the business streams and to continually improve our performance and processes. You will be the focal point for all Assurance Activities within the Business Stream.

Role:

· Ensure all customer requirements are satisfied by means of effective assurance planning
· Ensure product and process verification and validation are completed
· Influence design quality by supporting pro-active design assurance activities including DFM, Design Reviews
· Management of all non-conformances to a resolution.
· Manage internal and customer reviews and all formal assurance related customer communications
· Ensure all supplier issues and developments are managed to a conclusion with support of Supply Chain Assurance. Ensure Project improvement opportunities are managed to a conclusion
· Manage Assurance aspects within assigned business stream
· Manage Non Conformance via SAP tool

You

This role will act as the Single point of contact for the associated business stream with regards assurance activities. This will be predominantly an Operational Assurance role including risk identification and mitigation activities to ensure value added product build. A proven background in embedding assurance within an AS9100 accredited company is preferred however experience of other similar standards would also be considered.

You will have experience in Operations Assurance and you will be familiar with advanced quality planning. Also you will have experience in Quality tools and techniques i.e. Process Control, Root cause Analysis and Management of Non Conformance.
