Working within the Sales Department, the Commercial Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing commercial input to all tenders developed by the company.

This is a Pre-Contract position, responsible for advising the Sales team on suitability of particular contracts and terms of business for a specific tender. The Commercial Sales Engineer will be responsible for handing over all commercial aspects of the pre-contract work to the project team.

The Commercial Sales Engineer will have an excellent understanding of terms of business, including JCT and ICE and how the terms and conditions proposed by a client could impact on the solution developed by the Company and ultimately on project delivery.

The Commercial Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing guidance to the Sales team whilst mitigating contract risk and identifying opportunities for favourable terms

Suitable candidates will have experience in working with terms and conditions in a sales or tender environment. Ideally candidates will come from a telecoms background although this is not essential.
