Experienced Pipefitter/Welder Required
£11 p/h Ltd or £9.74 p/h PAYE
6 Week Contract, Immediate Start

Due to winning a number of major projects with several high profile clients within the food and petrochemical industries, this renowned manufacturer of tanks, pipework and structural steel is currently experiencing a rapid increase in workload. With more projects expected in the next few days, the current workforce is already struggling to complete all work within time and to budget. As a result, there is an urgent need for an experienced pipefitter/welder for contract work.

The role will involve:
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Bolting and assembly of pipes and valves.
• Mig and Tig Welding.
• Working on carbon, mild and stainless steel pipes (hygienic piping).
• Pipes can range from 2mm to 14 inches.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Potentially some site work.

The successful applicant must possess the following key skills and abilities:
• Time-served pipefitter with a good track record of experience.
• Ideally an engineering qualification e.g. C+Gs.
• Excellent Mig and Tig welding skills, ideally coded but not essential.
• Commutable to site – accommodation is not provided so will only suit local applicants.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Happy to work on site if required.
• In possession of your own tools.

The company will offer the successful applicant:
• £11 p/h Ltd or £9.74 p/h PAYE.
• Some overtime available – 10-15 hours per week.
• An initial 6 week contract.
