My Client is a leading organisation providing Engineering and Project Management Services to Process Industries worldwide. With a wide range of services and extensive client portfolio due to a retirement within the existing team, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer with an extensive working knowledge of pressure / vacuum systems.

Responsible for the production of conventional and bespoke equipment specifications, equipment datasheets and general arrangement drawings, mechanical sequence diagrams, technical reports and studies, you will ensure appropriate design deadlines are met within agreed timescales and within budget.

Qualified to Degree level in Engineering and ideally a Chartered Engineer you will be experienced in the design of bespoke equipment. With an extensive knowledge of Pressure/Vacuum systems and process systems you will have a working knowledge of mechanical handling systems and Gas Process equipment handling pressurised flammable liquids and gasses.

A committed and talented Mechanical Designer with engineering environment experience you will have strong communication skills and a confident, proactive character with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations.

This position requires the successful candidate have the ability to obtain UK Nuclear security clearance and as such candidates will need to be British Nationals with a full UK passport.
