Electrical Maintenance Technician / Electrical Engineer - Cornwall £28K +

My client in Cornwall is looking for a time-served Electrical Engineer to join their Maintenance team in their large processing plant.

The purpose of the role will be to ensure that all machinery in the factory is maintained to the required standard to allow for efficient production.

Duties of the role will include;
Maintenance of machinery and attending break-downs
Adherence to, and reporting in line with, the Company Quality System and Health and Safety Policy
Follow all check-lists and keep all tools in good order.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience;
Understanding of ladder diagrams
Use of Speed Control Devices
Use / Understanding of speed control drives, breaking systems, torque control
Use of encoders

The successful applicant will most likely be familiar with high volume / short lead-time manufactring (FMCG).

Please Note; This is shift work in line with Contract agreements.

Salary will reflect shift allowances and will be circa £28K.
