Maintenance and Inventory Consultants / Asset Management Professionals urgently
required for our client, who are a world leader in industrial
automation with a reputation for innovation, quality and reliability. You will be
working on behalf of the Customer Support and Maintenance capability, which also
offers technical support, training, and manufacturing consultancy through other
delivery mechanisms, to help provide complete solutions to their customer¡¦s needs.
Within the role you will be embedded on a customer site and play a key role in
helping the customer reduce the cost of maintenance on site whilst increasing Overall
Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The company has an excellent reputation
for developing a strategic maintenance approach which can also directly impact the
efficiency of the maintenance department.
Responsibilities will include:
„FƒnOn site professional management of maintenance, repair and operations
(MRO). Working with systems that enable the company to track its repairable
inventory and apply associated warranty programs.
„FƒnDevelop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow
and operational requirements for day to day activities in support of the
maintenance and repair operations.
„FƒnProviding a single point of contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
„FƒnReducing MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
„FƒnStoreroom Support the managing its reorganisation in partnership with the
customer
„FƒnProviding migration, rationalisation standardisation strategies to drive down
MRO inventory asset value.
„FƒnSupporting productivity improvements through timely delivery of parts to the
maintenance teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership.
„FƒnProviding monthly financial reports
„FƒnArranging consignment of new purchases.
„FƒnWork with client departments including plant management, maintenance
engineering, purchasing and distributors to identify and formulate efficiency
plans for maintenance.
„FƒnIncrease ¡§Out of the box¡¨ reliability of spare repairable assets, through the use
an extensive internal and external repair vendor capability.
These are exciting opportunities within a Multinational world leading company, to
play a key role in its ever developing Asset Management capability. Previous
experience in Asset Management would be an advantage but these positions will also
suit experienced maintenance / project professionals who are looking for a
commercial and strategic position. A related Engineering Degree is desirable,
however, candidates will need to have excellent communication skills across all levels
within the business, both written and verbal. Be able to work with production,
engineering and maintenance departments to achieve an increase in productivity
whilst reducing overall maintenance and support costs. Proven leadership skills and
the ability to work unsupervised must be demonstrated. The role is customer facing,
so proven experience in both managing relationships of both internal / external
customers and suppliers must be shown. The role is KPI focussed and candidates must
be used to working in a sometimes pressured environment, to achieve targets and a
high level of customer satisfaction. Proven experience in SAP is desirable.
