Proposals Engineer

Role Purpose:

To interpret client’s enquiry documents, prepare conceptual designs and draft formal tender responses to tight, customer specified, deadlines.

To undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders, and support the Sales team through to successful order placement.

To process orders and prepare accurate contract handover files for the Design office.

To attend formal bid clarification meetings within the UK and overseas.

To obtain sub-vendor compliant quotations for bought out items.

To formulate accurate cost build-ups.

To review technical and commercial content of Purchase Orders.
