Our client (a supplier of special purpose automated machinery) based in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer.

DUTIES:
* Understand and interpret the customer?s requirements and conceptualise the most cost effective design solution.
* Accurately convey these design solutions for internal and customer review using Promise E CAD tools.
* Be experienced in the design of control systems for complex automated systems.
* Specify and research the capability and integration of control devices, for example vision, robots, printing, lasers, safety systems.
* Generate design documents - wiring diagrams, cable schedules, process and instrumentation diagrams.
* Generate validation documents to support compliance with GAMP- Hardware design specifications and test specifications.
* Generate safety documents to support compliance with the machinery directive- Risk assessments, technical files.
* Work as part of a multi disciplined programme team.
* Manage their design activities within an ISO 9001 quality system.
* Support commissioning, construction verification, and safety system verification.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* A degree or vocationally educated (HNC, HND, apprenticeship) and would have a good understanding of engineering and automation principals developed from an Electrical design engineer role.
* Expert in the use of Promice E, and Microsoft office tools.
