Our client is a global provider of engineering services and specialist products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry with a focus on deepwater applications.

The jobs:

We are looking for Test Engineers / Technicians with Mechanical equipment experience to work within the company's umbilicals design and manufacturing facility.

The successful applicants will have some experience in heavy engineering and / or manufacturing. He or she will be required to assist the Senior Test Engineers in writing test procedures, conducting testing, undertaking technical calculations etc on our clients subsea umbilicals prior to dispatch to customers in their premises in Rosyth.

Qualifications and experience:

- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
- At least 6 months practical experience in industry (ideally with knowledge of instrumentation and / or materials testing).
- Experience in the subsea/off-shore oil and gas or related industry is desirable.
- Knowledge is required of MS Office, MSProject, and other programs such as AutoCAD / Solidworks, MathCAD, MatLab and MiniTab
