Our Barnsley based client is a leading supplier of to the aerospace, defense, nuclear & petrochemical industries. Due to an increase in business they have vacancy for a Deburring / Grinding Operative to join their Finishing department

Duties will be to operating machinery such as rotary grinders to clean / debur finished components

Candidates should have previous experience of machinery operation in an engineering / manufacturing environment
The ideal candidate needs to understand engineering drawing and be able work to close tolerances

You will need to be a team player with an eye for quality & a flexible approach towards work hours
Starting on days, shift working / overtime / occasional weekend will be required to meet workload requirements

This is a permanent position for the right person following successful completion of a trial period
Pay rate is £6.50 to £8.50 depending on skill level
