This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Temp Team Ltd who are operating as an employment agency. Our client is a sub contract engineering company and are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to strengthen the existing team.

Working in the CNC Turning section you will be responsible for the programming, setting and operating of CNC Lathes to produce bespoke components for sub contract engineering. Working with a range of exotic materials including Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex and Inconnell you will be machining to tight tolerance of up to 0.01mm and be responsible for your own quality checking with hand tools.

The ideal candidate will be a time served machinist with a number of years post apprenticeship experience in the programming, setting and operating of CNC Lathes in a sub contract engineering environment. Although some templates are available you will need to be able to program from drawings using Mazatrol controls. Although not essential it would be a distinct advantage to have experience in conventional machining.

This is a dayshift role with overtime available on both weekdays and weekends.
