The Role:

Working with the experienced design team, your responsibilities will include:

- 3D modelling / detailing using Solidworks, as well as AutoCAD
- Generation of BOMs
- Dealing with contractors
- Liaising with the machine shop and justifying designs
- Dealing with both suppliers and customers
- Working with the sales team in the generation of proposals drawings
- Involvement in purchasing
- Getting hands on (when necessary)

What you need to have:

- A Mechanical engineering BEng / MEng or equivalent qualification
- Ideally some experience of Solidworks
- A good grasp of the fundamental principles of Mechanical engineering
- Good self management and process management skills
- You shouldn't be afraid to get your hands dirty (the practical approach)

Personality:

You need to be a self motivated, dynamic and personable character, with an eye for detail.
