3 Month Contract Materials Controller

This well established company in Surrey need a helpful friendly Materials Controller to help them for the next three Months.

Job Description is as follows
Call material into factory from sub contractors and proprietary suppliers by pull types Systems.
•Fax/Email suppliers for weekly production requirements.
•Prevent shortages to line product by perpetual check of stocks.
•Assist product managers in organising material layouts on the production lines.
To assist goods inwards in the identification of unidentified materials, i.e. chase copies of advice notes.
•To advise expeditors of material shortages.
•To act as liaison between production and material control on material issues.
•To attend daily shortage meetings to advise latest material status to production managers and material control.
•To advise management of any problems that may affect production.
