Injection Moulding Maintenance Manager

Salary: £40000-45000

Location: West Midlands

Reporting To: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Working Conditions / Other features of Job:
8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday
8.00am – 1pm Friday.
You will be expected to do any reasonable hours as required to fulfill the requirements of the role including being available for off site support and emergency call out.

Overall Purpose / Scope of Position
To ensure all maintenance is performed and developed to ensure continuity of supply to the customer and that legal and company obligations are attained.
Plus any other ad hoc duties required to fulfill the job role

Key Objectives
For area for responsibility:
Leadership and organisation of maintenance teams and resource
Leading and developing of the site PPM system
Leading of breakdown reduction via root cause anaylsis and corrective actions
Leading the training and development of the maintenance team
Support engineering tasks
Support autonomous maintenance tasks
Continuous understanding of current problems within area of responsibility
Profundity in understanding of technical aspects of equipment and processes

Key Result Areas
EOS audit result
TS audit results
Breakdown response and root cause problem resolution
Departmental KOIs – breakdown levels, PM achievements, budget control.

Health, Safety and Environmental Factors
Ensure all H S & E standards are met as per the Employee Charter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
Qualifications
Electro/ mechanical qualification - HNC or craft skill

Job Skills
PPM systems
Process knowledge
Electrical circuit controls
Hydraulic controls
PLC and Software

Experience
5 years maintenance or engineering experience in an automotive environment and the leading a team of engineers.
