CAD Draughtsperson

Purpose of the post:
The main responsibilities includes the design, development and support of new and existing products.

Working for an established quality engineering firm in St Ives, who work with a range of industries to include:
Automotive, Marine, Agricultural etc.

You will produce 2D Mechanical designs from concept stages through to development and production.
Whilst also producing engineering assembly, detailed drawings, BOM's and other related documentation.

Experienced with Solid Works 2D CAD. You will have a knowledge and practical experience of low to medium manufacturing with a broad range of materials and processes (metal and plastic fabrication, moulding, casting, machining etc)

An effective communicator at all levels with the ability to generate creative ideas, whilst using your initiative to identify problems and be proactive in developing solutions.
