The Role

Working as part of a team the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties...

The plastic extrusion process
Responsible for changing/setting the moulds on plastic injection machines
Ensuring this is done in a timely and efficient manner
Reading production plans to ensure you are aware when moulds/lines need changing
Working closely with the maintenance team to repair any machines
A logical approach to problem solving essential in order to maintain machinery.
A working knowledge of an Alan Bradley touch screen would be advantageous
Cleaning down the machinery

Plastic Injection Moulder / Setter / Extruder

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experiences and attributes...

Experience of working in a foundry or plastic company would be highly advantageous
Injection moulding or die casting experience would be highly advantageous
Tool Setting or die changing experience would be advantageous
Previous extrusion experience advantageous

This position is likely to be a temp to perm position depending on performance. The working hours are rotating shifts 6-2, 2-10. Candidates must be prepared to work occasional weekends. The position is likely to start either 10th or 16th of April.
