Our Client is a start-up Medical Device Company based in the South East
Mechanical Engineering background
Responsible for the development of manufacturing processes and supply chains, in support of development and industrialisation of Company and Customer requirements.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a start up company at an early stage, where there is the scope to develop and influence company success and benefit directly from the experience.
Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop supply chain and manufacturing technologies
Work collaboratively with Technical and Project teams
Support Design and Development processes
Lead risk analysis process for manufacturing requirements
Support product verification processes
Support Master Validation planning
Lead Process Validation execution
Self motivated and proactive nature
Thrives in an open and less structured environment
Open, honest, inclusive, personable
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to Travel
Experience/Skills needed to fulfil the role
Experience of Project management
Experience within the medical device arena.
Experience of working with Designers
'Hands-on' mechanical experience
Experience of a start up environment would be an advantage
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Significant industrial experience may be considered as equivalent.
Interface with other departments/communication internal & external
Liaise with all internal functions and personnel.
Manage external suppliers
Present to appropriate business and technical audiences as necessary.
