Senior Manufacturing Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team in an international technology manufacturing business. In this role you will deliver effective process control and capable processes within the business group. You will lead and participate in continuous improvement and product development activities that reduce Cost of Quality and improve product reliability, and you will define manufacturing methods and manage capital investment programmes.

We are looking for candidates who have worked in a manufacturing environment dealing with complex instrumentation. Through world-leading capability and experience in advanced cryogenics and applied superconductivity.

The Role:
• Lead on activities that reduce Cost of Quality and improve product reliability;
• Convert improvement opportunities into real savings;
• Develop new process and manufacturing techniques;
• Develop techniques and controls to make products more repeatable;
• Identify areas for change;
• Define manufacturing methods;
• Support the manufacture of products and projects;
• Prepare manufacturing layouts;
• Manage capital investment programmes.

The Person:
• Masters Degree in a relevant subject;
• Practical working knowledge of:
- Manufacturing Technology;
- Manufacturing Best Practice;
- Project Management Processes;
- Microsoft Office;
- A production and manufacturing environment dealing with complex instrumentation;
• Good communicator, proactive and a team player;
• Effective planner;
• Strong analysing and decision making skills;
• Leadership;Process aware with ability to continuously improve.
