Toolmaker

Our client is seeking an experienced toolmaker to join their ever expanding team.

Skills required

Knowledge of injection mould toolmaking from small technical moulds up to 5 tonnes.
Experience in the refurbishment & repair of mould tools.
Experience in the manufacture of new injection mould tooling.
Having served an apprenticeship in injection mould toolmaking.
Familiarity with hot runner tooling.
CNC programming ability for vertical milling & turning.
Experience with electrode manufacture & EDM machining.
Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a team.
Experience in machine tool programming via CAD/CAM (ideally Vero software).
To be versatile & flexible, capable of formulating solutions to a wide range of toolmaking problems.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Desirable:
Punctual & reliable.
Full driving licence.
Local, or within reasonable commuting distance.
