We are currently recruiting for a superb opportunity to work as part of the maintenance team in one of the UK's biggest and most respected maintenance providers. We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer within building services to work in a data centre environment.

The company itself is a leading provider of hard & soft services in the built environment with a reputable history. Working international and national they are highly successful within various sectors. Their estimated turnover is approximately £400m and has a good reputation for career development and progression.

Working for an International Banking chain who is investing in two brand new data centre sites in Leicester. This company provides excellent working conditions and nationally recognised training and development, and promotion and career development prospects.

Your Role:

You must be experienced with electrical equipment along with good technical knowledge of building infrastructure and maintenance services. Everyday will vary, from pre -planned maintenance and reactive issues, changing temperature set points, changing filters/belts, motors/pumps, supply extract fans, maintaining fan coil units, AHU's, taking water temps, checking UPS systems, checking fluids of generators and connections, keeping up to date with log books and reports, general plant room checks and daily walk rounds, dealing with building shutdowns and reporting issues to senior management. You must be able to work on your own with competency, as role could lead to a more senior position in the future..

Specifications & Qualifications:

Electrical qualified – 17th editions
UPS systems
previous experience in above role
Client facing
Good verbal and written skills
Steady career history
HV and Data/bank experienced
Knowledge of generators
BMS Systems experience (desirable not essential)
