Engineering Supervisor

Overview: The world’s leading manufacturer of industrial building products is looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead its rapidly expanding team in one of its many manufacturing sites. A competitive package and opportunity to work for a world leading brand are on offer.

The Company:
Established well over a hundred years ago and employing thousands of people the business has become a global name in building products and services. They manufacture and distribute their products to the public, domestic and commercial sectors covering all aspects in the marketplace. With recent investment which is set to be continued they now have increased production and in turn require an Engineering Supervisor to join their growing team and business.

The Role of an Engineering Supervisor:
As an Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and leading the Team Leaders and engineers on site. You will be planning and scheduling the maintenance work on site and allocating work to each team. Working directly with the Engineering Manager you will take charge of long term projects including improvements on the line and installing new equipment. You will ensure that there is minimum disruption at every stage as well as managing the budget for each team.

Key Skills:
If you wish to be considered for this Engineering Supervisors position you must have previous supervisory experience from a manufacturing background. You will be electrically biased and have worked on 3phase, invertors, drives and PLCs. There will be a large focus on your personality, attitude and ability to bring fresh ideas to the team and manage change.

Salary: up to £36,000

Candidates may have relevant experience having held roles as a: Works Engineer, Works Supervisor, Chargehand, or Team leader
