Body Builder

One of the world's leading Retail companies is seeking an experienced and high quality Body Builder / Coachbuilder to join their Sittingbourne depot to work on their range of HGV trailers.

This is a permanent roles with a 3 month initial probationary period through agency. The probation has a rate of £9.93 for days, rising to £10.54 after the probation. Any overtime worked will be at a flat rate during the probation.

Responsibilities include the repair of the trailers including welding new floor panels, fitting new side impact bars, dent removal on the panels, plugging holes, and occasional repair work to the bumpers on the driver's cab.

The Body Builder / Coachbuilder should come from a Commercial Vehicle background with repairs work on to HGV, Bus, Coach, Train, Fire Engine, Horse Box or other similar specialist vehicle.

Applicants should have a relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualifications, be a proficient welder and have their own tools.
