Associate Level Facilities Management Engineer

Associate Level Facilities Management Engineer - Hants. My client a well-established internationally renowned consultancy is seeking an experienced and qualified facilities manager to join their team in their Hampshire office.

You should be a strong team player and have extensive client facing skills with a strong customer focus. You should have experience of leading and managing small design and project teams and, in particular, have experience of managing refurbishments, small works, plant and other lifestyle projects from development of brief through to completion, commissioning and handover of works. Ideally you will have experience of JCT forms of contract and associated contract administrator duties with a full understanding of the requirements of the CDM regulations.

You should have a background in mechanical or electrical design and project management with a full understanding of both mechanical and electrical services and associated controls. You should have experience of the design, coordination and management of M&E projects from inception to completion in multi-let commercial properties, corporate office, business parks, residential and retail.

It would be an advantage if you had a full understanding of Part L, BREEAM, operation and maintenance, and a general understanding of sustainability issues affecting the built environment.

You should be qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND level and ideally Chartered.
