Embedded Engineer

Role: Embedded Design Engineer
Location: Surrey
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

I am currently working with a manufacturer of IP cameras and video servers. The company has achieved its initial goals and is now developing additional algorithms to target a wider range of surveillance and automated video analysis scenarios. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading client who look after their employees very well.

Skills/Experience:
" 2:1 or higher degree in Electronic Engineering or similar from a top-tier university.
" At least 2 years C/C++ commercial development experience on Windows or embedded platforms.
" Demonstrable interest in technology both in and out of the workplace.
" Experience with audio, video, image, signal processing or similar technologies.

Desirable skills:
" Experience of real-time image processing, object detection and tracking.
" Exposure to DSP and embedded programming.
" Experience with video generation and editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere
