Store Furniture CAD Engineer - Prague

A Store Furniture CAD Engineer is sought to join this unique Retail Solutions Company in Prague, Czech Republic.

The organisation provides large multi-national companies with retail solutions including branded stores, shop-in-shops, product displays and in-store communications. They are now seeking a Store Furniture CAD Engineer to be the person in charge of creating technical documentation / production drawings for their clients' designs.

The CAD Engineer is an essential part of the development of any article, ensuring that the clients' designs are technically engineered so they can be produced efficiently, economically and to a level of expected quality.

TITLE: Store Furniture CAD Engineer
LOCATION: Prague, Czech Republic
SALARY: £45k - £65k dependant on experience
BENEFITS: Computer, cell-phone, business trips, client brand clothes allowance, relocation package including up to 3 months accommodation

The Store Furniture CAD Engineer will be responsible for the following:
*Technical solutions from prototype stage through to production and evaluation
*Preparation of technical documentation based on agreed solutions
*Communicating with teams about technical limitations and processes
*Document management

The ideal Store Furniture CAD Engineer will possess the following:
*Substantial experience in a similar role as an Store Furniture CAD Engineer within the retail / store / furniture design & fit-out industry, or similar
*Advanced level of experience with AutoDesk Inventor or Solidworks
*Creativity in suggesting realistic, practical and cost effective engineering solutions
*Knowledge of a broad range of technologies including wood, metal, glass, plastic, leather and illuminated production
*The ability to sketch ideas by hand before using CAD 3D programs
*The ability to multi-task, maintaining a high level of detail at all times
*Excellent communication & presentation skills

As the Store Furniture CAD Engineer for this company, you will need to be highly organised and motivated. You'll be working closely with project managers, production managers, assembly teams and roll out managers so will need fantastic communication skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure.
