There are currently 37 component programmes within the Shaping the Future portfolio spanning all aspects of our diverse organisation, designed to deliver over £300m of efficiency and improved performance within the next 3 years.

As the Portfolio Planner & Analyst within the Shaping the Future Programme Office (PMO), you will play a key role in delivering a Programme Management Office function along with the defining, managing and maintenance of all programme and project control, governance, assurance and reporting processes.

You will be responsible for the validation and assurance and guidance of the production of programme plans to consistent standards and quality across the business and coach and support all business functions in the management and delivery of their plans. In order to be effective in this role you will and have significant programme and portfolio planning and analysis experience, preferably relating to business change and capability development programmes.

Additionally you will be recommending and promoting the most appropriate approaches to project and programme governance, control, analysis and processes

Qualified to Degree level in a Business or Technical discipline you will have a demonstrable track record of working within successful change programmes within either the Utility, Manufacturing or Engineering sectors, or have experience as a Management or Engineering either in a Consultancy or a Construction background. We are lookingfor an individual who has a sound knowledge of portfolio, programme and project management tools and techniques (P3M3), with the ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate with creditability in order to influence.
