Outfitting Design Draughtsman

Our large defence client who specialise in land and marine MOD projects are currently looking for an Layout / Outfitting Design Draughtsman to join their office in Bath and join their pre-existing project team.

They are looking for candidates with experience in shipyard ship design and evidence of using Autocad to produce ship layouts. Having a secure knowledge of issues relating to the integration of ship equipment and building relationships with equipment suppliers is a necessity.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing teams and a comprehensive knowledge of LR Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships/Naval Ships.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be Chartered but my client offers excellent prospects for achieving Chartership if not.

This is a permanent position and looking to pay £25k-£30k + bonus + benefits.
