Senior Structural Engineer

An award winning international, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their busy office based in London.

This prestigious consultancy is a high end architectural led, structural engineering consultancy where a passion towards complex and beautiful structures is shared within the company. Our client is an award winning business and they are growing as a result of their vision, drive and culture. With a mix of residential, commercial, educational and retail projects in their portfolio, this company will not fail to attract high end business and continue to impress the structural engineering world.

This is a permanent position where you will be joining a team of 20 people in an office of 100 strong and growing. You will be expected to provide clients with technical and management input on multiple sized projects based in the UK and internationally whilst mentoring and developing your team. You will inherit a team which will consist of 4 - 5 engineers/technicians and report to the Regional Director. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects which include £40m - £80m residential and commercial projects. The bulk of the work is in residential and commercial projects where the company have long lasting relationships with some the largest and prestigious blue chip and privately held clients in the world, so rest assured you will not be joining a company where work load is going to slow down.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent qualification and be chartered MIStructE/MICE. Applicants must have proven experience of working within a team, but also possess the ability to work on their own initiative and have a confident demeanour. Candidates should come from a consultancy or contractor based structural background.
