Maintenance Electrician, Birmingham, £21,000

Duties : The Maintenance Electrician will be working as part of an Engineering team in a Metals Processing environment. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the maintenance / fault finding and repair of a range of PLC controlled Furnaces, Presses and Materials Handling equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will also be required to actively participate in both PPM schedules and continuous improvement activities (identification and rectification).

Skills & Experience : The Maintenance Electrician will hold an Engineering qualification, ideally along with 16th / 17th Edition. You will be a time served Maintenance Electrician with electrical / panel building / supply knowledge and experience of working in a team-orientated, process environment. You will also posses mechanical skills such as welding / fabrication and tool changes. A strong manufacturing background is essential, with a proven background in a metals processing.

Salary : Circa £21,000 for a days based role
