Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer looking for a position where you will be supported and backed to progress to Senior Engineer roles and be the technical point of contact for other Quality Engineers.

This company are a specialist supplier into the automotive industry. They work with many of the automotive industry's market leading companies and are currently undergoing a period of expansion and growth. Having been established for over 40 years, they have several subsidiaries worldwide and are renowned as a leader in their industry.

In this role, the successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for involvement in the New Product Introduction process. As well as this, you will be involved in internal and external auditing and working within the framework of the TS16949 and ISO9001 quality management systems. You will also investigate all quality returns and customer problems to root cause using problem solving tools such as 8D and 5Y.

The Role:

*Investigating customer complaints and faults to root cause
*Internal and external auditing
*Working to TS19649 and ISO9001 standards
*Driving forward continuous improvements

The Person:

*Time served and experience in quality
*Experience of problem solving tools such as 8D and 5Y
*Knowledge of internal and external auditing
*Ideally coming from an automotive, aerospace, defence, marine etc background
