Description

Our Client is a national provider of comprehensive maintenance services for commercial and public sector buildings - including financial institutions, retail outlets, property specialists, corporate premises, government departments, education and health services and social housing landlords.

They currently have a position for a statutory/compliance manager to work on their National Grid contract working out of their Birmingham office

Brief details of position
Reporting to the National Account Manager. Providing dedicated statutory compliance support to the Account Team, responsible for the overarching monitoring and control of the contract web portal compliance. Responsible for carrying out desktop audits of planned preventative maintenance, statutory and non-statutory tasks. Production of exception reports and action plans to mitigate statutory compliance risk. Liaison with regional offices to review and ensure PPM close out, action plans implemented. Responsible for driving compliance culture. Co-ordination of REFCOM data in line with HFMS contract requirements. Responsible for producing monthly compliance management information. Support Compliance Manager/Account Team with centrally delivered sub-contractors. Lead and support the collation and creation of annual asset condition survey. Support and assist Contract Co-ordinator with portal uploads and close out of paperwork. Responsible for updating contract trackers - audit actions, IMS, remedial works. Assist in processing SUSA/Near Miss/Hazardous Condition & Accident Reports.

Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and working experience of ISO 14001, 9001 & OHSAS 18001
Operational knowledge of and experience of B&ES (HVCA) SFG20 specification
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent IT skills and experience of web based application
Working knowledge of REFCOM refrigerant control
Over 5 years operational experience within an FM/M&E environment
