Mechanical & Electrical Engineers required:

Hourly Rate: £16.00Ltd
Duration: On-going contract
Trade Test & Induction will be required prior to start!

Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Fit Out Engineer

1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB - Fit Out Luxury Yachts
Installation of engines, cockpits, looms, plumbing and all electrical wiring and connections on Luxury Yachts

2. MAIN DUTIES/TASKS
Install all mechanical and electrical items in sequence of build
Test all electrical circuits, fault finding and problem solving
Carry out all critical checks & sign off boat file for compliance
Fit air conditioning, as required & Laminating as required

3. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

(a) Pre-Entry Qualification/Experience
Recognised apprenticeship e.g. Avionics Technician, Auto Electrician, Car Mechanic, Installation Electrician with City & Guilds/NVQ. Ex Forces, RAF, & Aerospace.

(b) 1 year post apprenticeship experience

4. HAND SKILLS
Daily use of a large range of tools/machinery with high levels of precision - ensuring transmission items are in alignment

5. PHYSICAL EFFORT
Regular physical effort required - e.g. lifting and carrying water tanks and moving by hand in awkward locations

6. WORKING CONDITIONS
Regular exposure to difficult working conditions - bending, stretching and kneeling in confined spaces
