Senior CAE Engineer
You will actively participate in the design & development of world-class recreational vehicles using computer aided engineering (CAE) and provide design insights and leadership to all product groups on a project basis.

The Role:
Interact with and provide analysis support to projects across multiple product groups using commercial CAE software codes.
Methods development, implementation of best practices.
Develop templates for use by design engineers.
Lead other engineering design team members in the areas of structures, thermal & mechanical stresses, rotating & vibrating systems, non-linear analysis, bolted joint analysis, gear analysis, bearing analysis, fatigue analysis.
Research, develop & implement new methods for CAE group.
Planning of CAE tasks for new projects.
Requirements:
B.Sc. (Hons) or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required. Preferable M.Sc. in Engineering, ideally with speciality in computational methods.
Member of National Engineering Institution, or internationally-recognized analysis body.
8+ years' experience desired with finite element analysis including static, eigenvalue and harmonic vibration.
Preferred experience with engine design, fatigue analysis, engine conjugate heat transfer, vibration & noise.
Significant use of ProEngineer, Mechanica, Ansys workbench, Nastran or Abaqus experience would be considered.
Experience with experimental correlation and product validation.
Experience of planning CAE tasks to support engineering project planning.
Ability to provide mentoring to engineers and less experienced CAE staff.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, reporting and record-keeping skills.
Team player, ability to work concurrently with several design teams and across multiple sites.
Some travel required between company sites.
