Controls Engineer

Overview:
A global leader in materials handling are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their organisation within the south east. The Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have experience of designing automated systems or similar large scale products. The Role of a Controls Engineer:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will design all mechanical aspects of material handling systems for this global leader at manufacturing and distribution sites across the UK. Working closely within a team design and project engineers, the design engineer will also liaise with a number of other departments to ensure specifications are met to the customer’s requirements.

Key Skills:
Previous experience within a similar Design role is essential along with a relevant mechanical qualification, preferably to HNC level. The ability to work unsupervised and to tight time scales are required for this role. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities are a must in order to be successful in this sought after position.

Benefits: Contributory Pension + Health Care + Annual Bonuses (5%)+ 25 days annual leave.

Salary: £41,000 basic + Benefits

Commutable from: Banbury, Oxfordshire, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, Brackley, Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
