Maintenance Engineer

Overview:
An international food manufacturing organisation is currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer to work on the process and packaging lines in the factory. This opportunity is offering excellent career progression coupled with a fantastic package for a day’s position.

The Company:
Established over 10 years ago, they have steadily progressed to become one of the major food manufacturers in their sector, providing an exceptional product and service to their customers around the UK. In the UK they currently employ around 100 people across 3 sites.

The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
As a maintenance engineer you will be working a shift rotation of permanent days. You will be required carry out all planned maintenance, whilst attending major breakdowns on the production lines.

Equipment on site: Conveyors, cutting machines, metal detectors, weighing machines etc.

Key Skills:
As a maintenance engineer in this role you will need to be electrically biased with a relevant qualification (i.e. 17th edition/C&G’s) and come from some form of manufacturing environment (Ideally food/FMCG). You will need to show excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a maintenance team.

Benefits:
On-going contract, potential to go perm

Salary:
£12 - £14 per hour

Commutable from: Kings Lynn, Norfolk, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Spaulding, Lincolnshire, Fakenham, Norfolk
