Site Electrical Engineer

With headquarters in the UK, our client is a global organisation with offices in 100+ countries. A healthcare company, their mission is to improve the quality of life for people around the world. Due to a promotion within the business, they are currently seeking to recruit a Site Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis to join them at their County Durham facility.

Reporting to the Engineering Operations Director, the role will encompass:

- Providing comprehensive technical and professional electrical engineering services on site, which will include project development, electrical maintenance and site energy management.

Key duties will incorporate:

- Managing HV/LV maintenance activities
- Interpretation of legislation and the impact on site
- Managing site energy monitoring and reductions
- Project development

This is a key role within the business so ideally requires a Chartered Electrical Engineer or someone who is minimum degree qualified. You should also be competent with HV switching activities. This is a hands on position that plays a vital role within the business so your key strengths need to be in electrical maintenance, energy conservation and project development. Your ideal industry background will have been gained within a process environment
