Tool Maker

Main Purpose of the Role
As Tool Maker you will be responsible for manufacturing tooling and parts for bespoke special purpose machinery.

The Person
My client is looking for time-served Tool Makers with experience in a sub-contract environment. You should be used to working to tight deadlines and to a high level of accuracy. Key requirements are;
• Apprentice trained tool maker
• Knowledge of jigs and fixtures
• Experience of machinery manufacture and assembly desirable
• Ability to work to tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be part of a team of tool makers manufacturing tooling and machinery for a range of clients and industries. Key duties will include;
• Tooling manufacture
• Use of manual millers and turners
• Machine build and assembly

Salary and Benefits
£Competitive hourly rate, overtime at time and a half, days role, early finish on a Friday, excellent holiday allowance, stakeholder pension.
