Excellent role on offer for an experienced mechanical design engineer with pressure vessel design experience looking to progress your career whilst working for the world leader who hold 60% of the market share.

Are you a Design Engineer from a pressure vessel background looking for progression and an opportunity to join a growing, dynamic company? On offer is lots of technical progression and an opportunity to join a blue chip world leader.

The company are specialist suppliers to the oil and gas industry, and are experiencing a large amount of growth and require ambitious mechanical design engineers to join the team and aid in the continued progression of the business. This is a specialist position therefore you will be required to live in the USA for 1 year to undergo intensive training on their products and processes. You will be required to design pressure vessels using AutoCad 2D and Microstation whilst working closely with other departments whilst working cradle to grave.

This role would ideally suit a mechanical Design Engineer from a pressure vessel design background that is looking to enhance their skills and progress their career either through the management route or a technical path.

THE ROLE

* Design of Vessels
* Provide customised technology design packages to customers
* Working closely with Process, Controls, Metallurgy and Drafting teams
* Review customer requirements and provide specialist comments on mechanical issues on reactors and pressure vessels
* Live in USA for 1 year to undergo intensive training on their products and processes - All Expenses and living costs Paid
* Relocation Assistance

THE PERSON

* Experience of Pressure Vessel Design
* From a process engineering background - Refinery, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical
* Must have 2D Design Experience - AutoCad or Microstation
* Must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related subject
* Ideally have knowledge of ASME, ASTM and NACE Standards
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Must be happy to Live in USA for 1 year to undergo intensive training on their products and processes
