Senior Structural Integrity Engineer

Senior Structural Integrity Engineer, Aberdeen, Contract, £55/hr to £60/hr

Ably Resources currently have a live requirement for a Senior Structural Integrity Engineer in Aberdeen for a long term contract positions. Staff candidates will also be considered.

Applicants will be experienced in Structural Integrity Management is required to join a well established team supporting over a dozen North Sea assets. The workload will range from establishing engineering support services for new platforms, to justifying life extensions on older structures, as well as day-to-day technical support.

Candidates will be have a relevant degree or qualification in structural engineering and chartered or working towards this would be beneficial.

Candidates will ideally have experience in the following:

oSignificant structural integrity experience ideally within the offshore industry;
oFully conversant with the offshore structural analysis packages used for jackets and topsides;
oExpert with design codes such as BS, API, Norsok, ISO) and applicable regulations;
oA high degree of self-motivation is required with good communication skills;
oFluency in written and spoken English is essential;
