Systems Engineer

Large aircraft manufacturing company who specialise in interiors currently require a CFD Engineer with a mechanical background. The CFD (conceptual fluid Dynamics engineer) will assist in delivering major programmes and supporting ongoing production for the Structures side of the business. The right candidate will be responsible for

Compressible and incompressible fluid systems encompassing, Cooling, Ventilation & Extraction Verification of Design.
Environmental and Endurance testing and analysis (FMEA, HASS)
Writing and approving test plans for the above requirements
Work with the design team, procurement and Programme Management during product development to ensure all aspects are considered from the outset.
Support shop floor activities
Develop the systems and procedures within the department to create a 'Lean' environment supporting the catalogue approach and minimal lead-time for New Product introduction
Ensure innovation is the forefront of all engineering solutions

The CFD Engineer will possess an engineering background in aircraft products will have been a CVE (or equivalent) with a design organization. Experience of plumbing systems highly desirable. Experience of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) desirable. Experience in Test verification highly desirable. Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus working practices is essential .
