Role:
• Lead and direct the implementation of client intervention and process management fundamentals within BPO operating units.
• This role will provide management of BPO Client Interventions and process improvements utilising specialised systems and tools.
• This is a leadership change role, which will also be responsible for training, leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing/Enterprise concepts, which will drive improvements in customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Lead projects and be responsible for deliverables.
• Direct Client Intervention Projects to deliver immediate results and/or containment.
• Lead workshop sessions with team leaders and work teams in delivering project objectives.
• Coach other business owners.
• Provide formal and informal training.
• Learn new skills and techniques.
• This role is one where influence is critical. There are many stakeholders spanning the operating group and the BPO businesses that are impacted. Many of their delivery issues begin based on expectations that are set with their clients during the sales cycle regarding their delivery capability and their commitment to continuous improvement. This role will contribute to aligning these expectations with their actual capability, the capabilities they are developing as well as their actual delivery experiences.
• It is anticipated that you will need to travel extensively in this role, both nationally and internationally, and that this may by up to a requirement of 80%.
Skills and Abilities:
• Extensive experience in Managing Operations in a customer delivery environment is desired.
• Lean Certification is required. In the absence of certification, significant work experience deploying Lean concepts may be substituted.
• Six Sigma certifications and experience are beneficial, however not essential.
• Solid business acumen.
• Profitability focused mindset – with a large bias for action.
• Ability to lead projects and be responsible for deliverables.
• Ability to communicate and motivate business leaders to change behaviours.
• Ability to influence senior leadership positively, to work with people and drive towards common solutions.
• Ability to conduct work sessions with team leaders and working teams in delivering their projects.
• Coaching skills.
• Ability to provide formal and informal training.
• Ability to learn new skills and techniques.
• Desire to teach Six Sigma and Lean fundamentals.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• You are possibly an Operational Excellence Consultant or a Lean Specialist with Consulting skills, or have similar abilities, or exposure, desire and potential to develop in this area.
