Description		Join our client and become part of our worldwide team of over 6000 professionals involved in designing, managing and implementing leading edge programmes and projects in the water, environmental and energy sectors. They are seeking energetic and innovative indivoduals who can assist in the identification, planning, bidding, winning and delivery of our solutions oriented service to our existing and new blue chip clients. Based out of their Newcastle Offices, the position is primarily in support of their UK clients but support to international projects is required from time to time. Successful applicants will provide specialist advice and take responsibility for specific landscape projects and EIA work. Responsibilities are wide and will include amongst others: The preparation of landscape and visual impact assessments for EIA reports. Support to planning applications and development proposals. Liaison with clients and stakeholders. Supporting business development activities and inputting into tenders and bids. The successful applicants will be expected to generate new ideas for the team and to attend and participate confidently and effectively at meetings. The successful candidate will possess a degree in Landscape Architecture or related subject/Diploma or post graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture or related subject, be Part IV qualified and will be a member of Landscape Institute. Applicants should have 3 -5 years' experience and will be fully conversant with AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office and preferably graphics applications. Salary is dependant upon skills and qualifications. A UK driving licence is essential. Key current work areas include environmental impact assessment for major infrastructure projects, development projects being pursued through the planning system, landscape planning and character studies.
