Description		Our Client is a leading management, systems and technology consulting firm seeking to strengthen their team at Consultant or Principal Consultant level. As part of the Product and Process Engineering practice, you will work directly with clients on a variety of operating assignments, providing innovative technical consultancy developing creative technical solutions for break-out products and manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on special purpose machinery design in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, you will have Project Management experience in the build of instruments and machines for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. You must have the ability to look at processes and convert them from front end configuration to hardware implementation (including hands on design), and have experience of biological engineering/instrument engineering/machinery design from a biotechnology company, machine manufacturer or engineering consultancy The ideal candidate will be self motivated and target driven, a strong team worker and effective relationship builder with team leadership skills and the ability to direct and define work structure. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach with a proven track record in working in project teams as well as leading projects of highly skilled engineers/designers. Candidates will have a strong understanding of biotechnology challenges, mechanical engineering and ideally the associated regulatory processes. You should be willing to travel on business throughout the UK and opportunities do exist to work on foreign assignments.
