Description		A Water Environment Director is required to join a National Consultancy in an Office based in and covering the southern region. As the successful Water Environment Director you will possess a proven technical and commercial background and ideally a specialist technical expertise in at least one of the following: water resource management, hydroecology, water quality, water policy, or flood/drainage hydrology. The work undertaken within this team is varied, covering almost every aspect of the water environment including: ground water, wetlands, rivers, lakes and reservoirs, transitional waters and marine waters. Remuneration for the Water Environment Director: Salary �50,000 - �55,000 plus car plus flexible benefits package Location: South Region � Office location is flexible Requirements: Extensive experience in developing and implementing business plans Integrated working and encouraging team development Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and extensive relevant experience Ideally the candidate will be suitably Chartered. Specialist technical knowledge in at least one of the following: - water resource management - hydroecology - water quality - water policy - flood/drainage hydrology. The client: My client is one of the UK�s leading environmental consultants with 11 offices in the UK and Ireland and over 30 years experience. They provide consulting solutions in a wide range of environmental matters and are ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001 registered and are currently developing a Health and Safety Management system against the requirements of OHSAS 18001. Main Duties include: � Water Resource Studies � Sustainable Water / Drainage Management � Flood risk assessment and management � EIA � R&D � Industrial compliance � Water company investigations and developing / implementing water related policy
