Ideally you should be a qualified CIMA or ACCA that is fully competent with Sage systems & MS Office packages. A Management Accountant that can work on their own initiative and have a flexible approach to travel & working hours coupled with excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a busy & demanding financial department for a very large environmental services organisation.

The role will be involved with preparing monthly management accounts in accordance with the group deadlines; preparing detailed monthly variance analysis together with annual budgets and monthly forecasts in conjunction with business managers. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, review capital expenditure projects working closely with business managers and administrators to ensure accurate financial reporting. Provide financial support for the senior management and monitor the accrued income account and ensure invoicing is completed on a timely manner.

Monitor debtor balances and review the purchase accruals and review with the appropriate managers and administrators. You will also undertake audits across all activities within the division.
