Our client is a firm of international consulting engineers. They are seeking to strengthen their management team with the appointment of a highly experienced Chartered engineer. This could be from either a mechanical or electrical background.

Our client is looking for wide experience in the heavy industrial sectors of power generation, steel production, chemical plants, paper, pulp plants, minerals or water.
Applicants must have experience of two or three of these sectors.

Experience should be from feasibility studies, due diligence audits, tendering through construction to commissioning. Operational, maintenance, manufacturing and servicing experience are not required.

Technical knowledge with the ability to manage and motivate teams of experts.
Good communication skills.
Business development experience, financial awareness, budgetary controls.
IT skills
Experience of working overseas will be useful especially in the Middle East.

This position is UK based at Head Office but will include overseas travel as necessary.
