Title: Director – Public Sector

Salary: £90,000 -£110,000

THE COMPANY:
• Mackenzie Stuart is currently working with a leading construction consultancy operating worldwide.

• The business works on projects within the public and private sectors on projects up to and over £300m in value.

• While the business is extremely stable financially, it is also ambitious and plans to improve both its performance and its operating processes in order to further enhance its market position in Healthcare.

THE ROLE:
• Built around a strong value set and visionary senior management team, the company is looking to strengthen further with the recruitment of an experienced Director with a string background in working in Healthcare in the London area.

• Reporting directly to the Divisional Director and working closely with the Legal and Contracts Services Director, the successful individual will also be expected to contribute to strategic development and wider culture change within the business.

• You will provide strong leadership and be responsible for further development of business into the Healthcare sector with a focus on NHS Trusts.

• You will direct and oversee all such activities and ensure that the company receives full value for all work executed.

• In a stimulating and challenging environment, where informed decisions are rapidly implemented, you will also provide proactive strategic advice at all stages of the construction process in order to help ensure the company deliver its strategy and business plans.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a good network of contacts in the Healthcare sector in London, particularly with NHS Trusts.

• You will have substantial senior level experience with full responsibility for all commercial aspects and a proven track record, within a £300m turnover business.

• With in depth knowledge of legal and commercial aspects of construction at a strategic and operational level, you will have led and directed a customer focused team in a challenging environment.

Knowledge and experience of PFI, LIFT and BSF Frameworks and other public sector routes will be a must.
